Review our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).  After discussing the opportunity with you, and verifying your initial qualifications, we’ll send a Country Kitchen Franchise Disclosure Document for your review. A follow-up call or meeting will be arranged to discuss the FDD and address additional questions you may have. 

Complete the Country Kitchen Franchise Application. The Application form is essential to our evaluation of you as a potential Country Kitchen Franchisee. Providing us your Franchise Application information does not create an obligation by either party.

Assist with verification of your background and credit. In accordance with routine policies, we will conduct a background check and will verify your credit and assets as a safeguard for your success.

Meet the team at corporate headquarters. Your “Day of Discovery” at the Country Kitchen corporate headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, will officially introduce you to the Country Kitchen philosophy as well as to the key personnel who will help you with the opening and ongoing operations.

Make it official. Upon conclusion of your Discovery Day, Country Kitchen will evaluate the meetings. Assuming continuing mutual interest by both parties, we will be ready to enter into a franchise agreement. At this time, your initial franchise fee will be due.

Secure property and financing. Please review “Your Investment; Development Opportunities” on this website for suggestions on site selection and information about financing. Once we understand the circumstances of your proposed franchise, we will provide greater detail tailored to your situation.

Construction begins, and so does training. As your restaurant takes shape, it’s time to get your ducks in a row. You and/or a Managing Owner, along with a minimum of two assistant managers, will attend an approximate 10-week training program at a certified training restaurant.

Prepare for your grand opening. On the final stretch of Country road, you’ll have our “Countdown to Opening” manual as your guide. In addition, our Education Coordinator, Franchise Consultant and others from Country Kitchen International will walk with you every step of the way to prepare for your restaurant’s grand opening.
